In the month of December 2009, the assembly line automation bagging of mortars was complete in Vicálvaro (Madrid). The Customer requirements and his needs for production were that the assembly has to be done during the week by the technician’s assembly of ELOCOM.
The next phase provided between Holcim and ELOCOM is to gradually replace much of the production of mortars packed in valve sacks for polyethylene sacks made by a FFS bagger.
The rapid evolution of the sector to the mortar bagging FFS baggers is determining investment priorities of the large groups of companies.
The conspicuous preference of customers for the advantages of plastic bags and its advantages, are compelling the mortar manufacturers to take positions. Hence, in the year 2010 it is projected to install over 14 coil bagging lines for airtight mortar sacks.
Being able to leave the bags to the weather and the absence of dust on the outside of the bag are some of the advantages of this bag.
